Hello classmates ! Please update your email addresses on your classmate profile. Many classmates that have retired still have a work email address.

comment by Ed Mori

Not sure if I'll make it. I can't believe it's been half a century!

comment by Richards (Rich) Lane

Thank you Richard Schneider for all your efforts to keep our class connected. I planned to attend our 50th but family health issues intervened. I expect this reunion will be a great success and hopefully I will be able to attend future events. Have a great time!

Hello Classmates, With great sadness I inform you of the passing of Rick Petracca. Please view on our Memorials Page. God bless us, every one.

Richard and Team - thanks for all the hard work organizing the 50th. Regretfully, I’m not able to attend due to another conflict. My very best to everyone!

Hello Classmates and Friends. This will be my first reunion and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I was living out of Pittsburgh for 18 years and returned 4 years ago and had the fortune of seeing a few of our classmates for the first time since 1974. Needless to say it was a great experience and I am looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.

comment by Jackie (Kent) Maryak

I am so sorry I will be missing this reunion (I also had to miss the 40th!)! We are doing a big trip abroad just a few days after the reunion, and we're planning to lay low for a week or 2 before we leave. 50 years! How can that be when I don't even feel like I'm 50 years old!! Hoping it's a glorious affair, and if happens to travel to my neck of the woods (near Asheville, NC), please let me know!! And thank you so much to Lee, Richard and the other classmates who put so much effort into keeping this going!

comment by Kim Murray

Thank you, Richard and all for your efforts! I am looking forward to the weekend! How can it be our 50th?!!! ????it seems like yesterday....

George Munkachy memorial has been posted.

comment by Ivy Childs Edelstein

It breaks my heart that I can't attend the reunion this year. They have meant so much to me in the past as my school years in Mt. Lebanon and the influence of Pittsburgh in general have strongly defined who I am. Alas, I am taking care of my severely ill husband and can barely get out with the dog, let alone travel. I remember so many of you like it was yesterday and if you remember me, then know I wish you the very best and a most wonderful reunion weekend. If you're ever in Santa Rosa, CA do let me know. Sending love, Ivy

comment by Frank Benintende

Our success is attributed to our education we received at Mt Lebo. It’s nice to see all our classmates are continuing to thrive to their goals. Cheers

I’d like to thank Richard & all the committee members who planned our 50th big bash!! It was such a nice night & it was great to see friends that I haven’t seen in a while!! I know it must have taken a lot of time & effort to plan this event. Your hard work was very much appreciated!! ????????????????

Also a big thank you to Richard and all the committee members for your hard work!

comment by RICHARD P SCHNEIDER

Thank you, Ivy Childs Edelstein, I echo and feel the same way as you so eloquently stated. We grew up in the best of times and didn't even know it. We will post pictures of the reunion. Blessings and prayers to you and your husband. Richard

Looking forward to this reunion. Hard to believe it’s been a half-century… and many thanks to the reunion committee for putting together some great events to choose from!

Hello Classmates I trust all have made it home safely from our most excellent 50th reunion. Please post/upload your pictures on the Photo Album page on the website Lebo1974 dot myevent dot com under 2024 Reunion. Thank you blessings to all, Richard

comment by Deke Ellwanger

The 50th reunion seems like a good reason to lose some weight. Dateline reported that I ate my wife, but I really didn't.

comment by H Gregg Nicklaus

Looking forward to sharing a few cocktails with the many friends and cohorts. But most importantly I want to say thanks for the efforts of the committee and to those who have made this event possible. We have much to be thankful for. And I am very thankful for the many high school friendships I have enjoyed over these 50 years as they have been a blessing for me. ???? thanks all. Gregg

comment by Donna Briggs (Yocum)

Hi. Just wanted to thank everyone for putting this all together. I remember getting a call out of the blue from Brian several years ago. Though we didn’t know each other in HS, we had a really nice conversation. I finally posted my classmate profile. I enjoyed reading what everyone has been up to. Hard to believe it’s been 50 years!!

comment by Liz Elm

This will be fun!

comment by Denise Doherty Simonik

Hello friends, I'm still trying to get my head around 50 years…like many of you, Tom and I retired a few years ago and migrated south to NC. We are baby chasing, as two of our granddaughters are here. The other half of our family is in Massachusetts, which is where we will be in early June to welcome the latest addition! Sorry we will miss the fun. Have a wonderful time!

comment by Margaret Ann "Peg" (McIntyre) Fallon

Hope a lot of people can come to the reunion. Sad so many have passed away. It really doesn't seem like 50 years!!!

comment by Mark Eli Kosanovich

Much appreciation to Richard, Lee and everyone who are organizing this effort! It will be a great event and I also cannot believe 50 years has passed. Our family has moved to The Woodlands, Texas after many years in Chicago! Anyone down this way? If I remember Marlin (Masucci) was in Dallas. See you all soon!

comment by David Reeder

Look forward to stirring up some good memories at the 50th reunion. .

comment by Dennis O’Connor

Greetings to fellow 1974 grads.  Hard to believe it was nearly 47 years ago

comment by Lisa Maglio

Hello everyone, Many thanks to those of you who are involved in the reunion planning process. I really look forward to flying from Californina to attend the reunion. My daughter is getting married in CA in July, so presuming all the wedding plans are as they should be at that time and I feel safe traveling without getting ill (last time I flew to Pittsburgh, I got Covid and was sick for 2 months and in the hospital twice!) I will be there. Can't wait! Lisa

How much fun to scan through these messages and see many familiar names! Looking forward to seeing everyone in June and reconnecting with my roots!

Just an update....As of December 2012 , I am living outside of Nashville, TN and loving it. My daughter is a nurse and in grad school at Vanderbilt Univ. Med. Center, so that was the draw. My new city is   Mount Juliet, TN  . I have left snowy Sandusky, OH behind! Thought that I would update you with this info. Take care and as always, a big thank you for all you do.

comment by Kevin Diixon

I was so sorry to have missed the reunion due to my orthopaedic woes. Every tidbit of informaiton and the pictures are great.. Looking at the Saint Bernard's picture I am reminded of the GREAT men and women Saint Bernard's produced back then. I don't know about today, but what a cast of high achievers that came from that class. Great job guys and girls from Saint Bernard's. We comemmorated the 20th anniversary of Martha Dixon's end of watch, from an ambush massacre that took place in the Washinton DC Police Headquarters November 22, 1994, on Friday, November 21, 2014, in a ceremony at Saint Patricks and the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC. The generosity of the Class of 1974 and in particular the donation of the weekend at the Sirata Resort which led to the raffle revenue were discussed and appreciated by all the family members. The Martha Fund was mentioned with pride during a 90 minute ceremony honoring the Agents and Police who lost their lives that fateful day. The good work of the Fund perpetuates the memory of Martha Dixon, Lebo 77, but also maintains awareness and honors all the fallen. We will never forget. This week I will be giving thanks for being raised in Mount Lebanon, and having such a super  group of people to call my friends. Finally, if anyone is interested in the story behind that shooting, it can be found in a documentary online at the FBI Files.  Cut and Paste the following link:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT4Q-2XjYmo
