Greetings to fellow 1974 grads. Hard to believe it was nearly 47 years ago
I was so sorry to have missed the reunion due to my orthopaedic woes. Every tidbit of informaiton and the pictures are great.. Looking at the Saint Bernard's picture I am reminded of the GREAT men and women Saint Bernard's produced back then. I don't know about today, but what a cast of high achievers that came from that class. Great job guys and girls from Saint Bernard's. We comemmorated the 20th anniversary of Martha Dixon's end of watch, from an ambush massacre that took place in the Washinton DC Police Headquarters November 22, 1994, on Friday, November 21, 2014, in a ceremony at Saint Patricks and the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC. The generosity of the Class of 1974 and in particular the donation of the weekend at the Sirata Resort which led to the raffle revenue were discussed and appreciated by all the family members. The Martha Fund was mentioned with pride during a 90 minute ceremony honoring the Agents and Police who lost their lives that fateful day. The good work of the Fund perpetuates the memory of Martha Dixon, Lebo 77, but also maintains awareness and honors all the fallen. We will never forget. This week I will be giving thanks for being raised in Mount Lebanon, and having such a super group of people to call my friends. Finally, if anyone is interested in the story behind that shooting, it can be found in a documentary online at the FBI Files. Great to finally hear about the BIG REUNION and get on the list.Much to catch up on!Best to everyone.
Ivy, It all started on or about January 20th when Glen Sawhill contacted about 8-10 of us to gather some stories and memories for a news article where Glen was requested to share some reflective thoughts with respect to Lebo’s football season, winning ways, championship games, coaches and lessons learned. From there we started talking about it being time for our next reunion. It had been 11 years since our 25th reunion and we felt it was time to get it going again. We just missed the 35th and did not want to wait another 4 years. We put some feelers out there and got a good response so here we are, besides, Never Before Like \'74 !!!
Does anyone know why this is a 36 year reunion? I need an answer to give all the people who ask this. Also, most folks are surprised that I would be excited to attend a high school reunion. Never before like 74!
I was so surprised to get a message from Brian on facebook! Haven\'t had any contact with anyone from high school since moving back to Texas so it has been really nice to see some old faces. Hope I can make the reunion in October!
Can\'t wait to hear Bachman Turner Overdrive!
I just found out about the reunion today from Brian. I\'m hoping to be able to attend in October. Let\'s hope we all recognize each other after all these years.
it\'s wonderful to rediscover so many names and faces from the past. thanks, r and b for getting this started. hope to see everyone in the fall. .
Richard and Brian,THANKS for organizing this and putting this together! Life hasn\'t always been easy the last 36 years but it\'s been eventful and rewarding. I have good memories of Mt. Lebanon and the High School, and will try my best to attend the reunion in October! It will be great to hear the stories from everyone, and see where life took them! Jeff(PS - just saw Rob Gergins last summer, who\'s also living in Southern California)
Thank you Brian and Richard for your dedication in getting this thing started. Even though I am still here in Mt. Lebanon, I would love to touch base with people from long ago!!
I\'m looking forward to seeing a host of old friends at the reunion. Great job to all who toil on this!Cliff Green
Brian and Richard,Thank you for putting all of this together and for taking the time to help us all reconnect. I am really hoping to be able to come to the reunion. Can you confirm the date as soon as possible? I am looking forward to seeing everyone!
Brian and Richard the website is great! Thanks for all of you hard work. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Oct.
Hi everyone!I was a little "out there" at Mt. Lebo, but started to grow up around my 3rd year at UPJ. I can\'t believe how fantastic everyone looks who\'s so far uploaded their pictures! I\'ve pretty much lived away from Pgh since leaving for school at UPJ in 1974; folks became snow birds to Florida not too long after; so that\'s where we pretty much have gone all these years to visit. I still have 1 sister and a niece in Pgh who I see a few times/year in FL - this reunion will give me a double reason to go back "home." (I\'ve lived in Augusta, GA now for 26 years.)You wouldn\'t believe how many people I\'ve met here in Augusta who are not only from Pgh, but from Mt. Lebanon. In fact, I had a gal who worked for me a number of years ago who, believe it or not, grew up at the top of my street (Mayfair Drive), and at least 3 people I ran into who graduated Mt. Lebo HS with one of my sisters (Emily) in 1968! It\'s a crazy, small world! So excited about reconnecting with everyone..and thank you so much Richard & Brian for doing a fabulous job kicking this off!Jackie (Kent) Maryak
I would love to hear from classmates.
Nice job Brian and Richard. Great talking with you Brian a few weeks back. Stirred some memories. May be able to make it back, but will keep an eye out as details unfold. Thanks guys.
I lived in South Florida for many years and was never able to make prior reunions. I am now back in “da burgh” and looking forward to seeing some old friends. Brian thanks for reaching out and coordinating our get-together.
hello there! Looking forward to the reunion in the fall; hope to see a bunch of people I haven\'t seen in 36 years... hope we all have nametags with our senior pics on them, because I have a feeling that\'s the only way I\'ll recognize most people! Thanks Richard & Brian for all your hard work on putting this website up & coordinating the reunion!
HELLO EVERYONE, GREAT JOB RICHARD AND BRIAN FOR THE SITE AND THE HUGE EFFORT MAKING ALL THIS HAPPEN.
Wow, Brian and Richard you have done a fabulous job. Thank you for all your continuing hard work to reunite us. Can\'t wait for the reunion! Left PA. over 20 years ago because of husband\'s job but all my children are Steelers, Pirates and Penguin fans, in fact, all 9 of us (some are married) will be rooting for the Penguins when we attend the game here (Atlanta) next month. Can\'t wait to come HOME again. Anyone who wants to get in touch beforehand, email me!
Love to see more pictures posted in the classmates section -- particularly "now" pics. Let\'s face it, we may need the help to find each other this fall! Thank you Richard and Brian for giving us this forum to reconnect. M
Thanks to Brian and Richard. Can\'t wait to see you guys. I\'m good at the tailgate and after party but not so sure about the game. I never went to one when I was there, maybe I should go to one.Patterson

ATTENTION STEELER FANATICS...Check out these awesome Super Bowl XLIII pictures at the following site... http://nevertellmetheodds.org/t.php?id=85057&r=24 It takes awhile for all these pictures to load, so give them ample time. It\'s worth the wait.Enjoy,Johnny Harris
This looks great. Hope that October works for a reunion. I haven\'t been back to PA since the 20 year reunion. I think it\'s about time to return.

Thank you Richard Schneider for all your efforts to keep our class connected. I planned to attend our 50th but family health issues intervened. I expect this reunion will be a great success and hopefully I will be able to attend future events. Have a great time!
