I likewise knew Barb from Bower Hill Church Youth Group.  Lost touch with her after High School.  I remember her as very quiet and studious, and very nice, with a lovely shy smile.  I was shocked and saddened to hear that Barb passed away, so soon.   It seems so unfair that such a nice person should leave us at such a young age.

I knew Barb mostly from the Bower Hill Church youth group, but she was in many of my classes all the way from elementary school through high school. The last time I saw Barb was when she was a year ahead of me at the Pitt Law School around 1981. Barb was a  sensible and serious girl, and since I am exactly the opposite, we had a kind of humorous bantering relationship along the way. I am so sorry to hear that she passed away so young - still in her thirties - from a sudden illness.
