Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tom graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1974, and then attended California University of Pennsylvania.

He was a Navy Veteran and worked as a Journeyman Electrician for IBEW Local 269 for the past 30 years.

Known for his wide range of interests, Tom was a dedicated Civil War history buff who also enjoyed studying WWII aircraft. He was a model train enthusiast -- his knowledge of trains surpassed only by his mission to get a train under every family member's Christmas tree. Tom was a member of the National Railway Historical Society, Train Collectors Association, and Sober Bikers United, for which he was recently voted in as a board member. He also enjoyed playing his ukulele on the beach and jamming out on guitar with his son and grandsons and could sometimes be spotted at local venues trying his hand at a music career. Tom was a man of many hobbies, which included riding motorcycles across the country, spending countless hours building models, working on his project cars, and casually flying kites in Cape May and at local parks.

"Pop-Pop" was a beloved grandfather, father, and brother, whose premature passing will leave a void in the lives of the many relatives who fondly remember him.
