The after picture is Me, hubby Nelson our 25 year old twins Nick and Matt and our old dog Kosmo on the front porch of our Florida bungalow in Deland. Chapters of my life in a nutshell: *Graduated from Virginia Tech major in accounting *worked for 20 years at a combination of C&P Telephone,American Bell and finally AT&T as a programmer and Sr systems analyst *1986 took a leave of absence and traveled around the world with Nelson with just our backpacks BEST DECISION EVER! * returned to job till a retirement package was offered and took it!! * after boys were born went back to AT&T (might have been Lucent then-lost track) as a contractor for a few years * was a volunteer addict throughout my career and went for my dream job to work for a nonprofit. * worked for juvenile diabetes research foundation for about 7 years as office manager, special events coordinator and business analyst * after JDRF worked as office manager for my son’s school for about 5 years * finally spent about 3 years at AAA headquarters as administrative assistant for Division Manager of digital media. Very grateful to be able to have such a variety of opportunities in my career! Haven’t been good about keeping in touch with everyone. Moved from VA to FL as part of a team from C&P around 1980. Made it back for our 10 year reunion but that’s it. Still think about Mt Lebo often and great times hanging out in Highland Terrace. So great to read about everyone’s adventures and successes. What a fabulous class we had!!!! |

Four years ago, I attended my first reunion. I knew I would enjoy the party Saturday night and I was excited to introduce my wife to the friends of my youth but I seriously underestimated the magnitude of that enjoyment. Everybody that I met again for the first time exploded with smiles upon recognition (as did I). Every girl threw their arms around me upon recognition. It was joyful beyond description. I fully expect our 40th to be equally wondrous. If any of you are on the fence about attending. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it. |

Graduated from WVU with a Business Degree and moved to Wheeling in 1979. Worked for others while kids were growing up, now I work and sell for myself. I will never retire! My husband of 29 years tells me I like to work. :) Just started the business 5 years ago and finished last year in 10th place with Sage in Peachtree Sales. I love the daily challange. The kids are fine. Both graduated from WVU. Steph is a Dentist and Allen is working at Best Business Strategies selling Sage ACT!
